Hard work pays off: Bridgewater High School graduate Megan Joudrey was presented with a $300 bursary by teacher Allan Muir during the proceedings in June. The bursary, sponsored by A.P. Reid Insurance Stores is awarded each year to a graduate who has shown entrepreneurial spirit.
“When I found out I was awarded the bursary, I was overwhelmed with excitement! There’s no greater feeling than being recognized for your hard work and achievements,” she said.
“I always recognized the effort I was putting into Junior Achievement & Mr. Muir’s Entrepreneurship class, however, the recognition from my educators & from A.P Reid made my graduation ceremony much more memorable.”
Megan will be pursuing a Political Science major at Saint Mary’s University in the fall, and has plans to attain a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
